This months Portsmouth Writer Hub will feature writer Mark Chisnell who will be speaking and taking questions from the audience.

Writing Your Self

This is a facilitated ongoing workshop group for people who are, or want to start writing memoir, autobiography or family history. It will be a place to bring your writing and ideas, get support and work with others.

Writing Television Drama

This course is designed to help you find and develop your own story and explore the art of screenwriting, plus there’s opportunities to see professional actors improvise with your ideas and perform a reading of the finished product – along with tips on how to pitch and sell it.

Playwrighting

This new ten session course offers a supportive atmosphere in which to explore elements of craft, including characterisation, plot, dialogue, and voice. Aimed at both those new to playwriting and those with some experience wanting a refresher course the emphasis is on discovery, technique, and experimentation.

Managing your own arts project

This one-day practical course is suitable for those who are new to project management and those who want to invest in learning how to manage their projects more effectively.
