About Paul Macauley
Paul Macauley is a writer who lives in Brighton. His play Bug Camp! is a winner of the Bristol Tobacco Factory Theatre’s 2013 Script Space scheme to develop writers and new writing. His play Piece of Cake was staged at the Tristan Bates Theatre as part of Equal Writes showcase for supporting parity of representations of women in theatre. He co-wrote the short film Noose, produced this year by United Magic Film Studios.
He is also a director and this year directed Absence for Broken Silence Theatre and a work in progress of his own new play Slow Bullets. He has directed several short films and has most recently written, produced and directed Fleur-de-lis, which will be completed in 2014.
