This half-day workshop is aimed at emerging writers who want to build up their knowledge and skills to plan and execute their own writing workshops. Learn about structuring and making best use of the time, group facilitation of a varied audience, planning exercises and encouraging people to share their work.
Evlynn Sharp is a performance poet, playwright, creative arts facilitator and visiting lecturer. She has been the Writer in Residence at secure establishments such as HMP Lewes and HMP Belmarsh as well as with many organisations and charities including Surrey & Sussex Probation Trust, Charing Cross Hospital, East Grinstead Museum, Care for the Carers. Her poetry has been recorded and broadcast on BBC Radio. Along with artwork by visual artist Sally Booth, her poetry of ‘Edges and Extremes’ was exhibited at the Tate Modern in London as well as at Geevor Tin Mine’s Hard Rock Gallery in Cornwall, Shetland Museum and Archives, and at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh
