Writing and Wellbeing for the LGBTQ+ community and allies. With Dr Lou Tondeur.

The Centre for Arts and Wellbeing at the University of Brighton are partnering with New Writing South to run writing and wellbeing workshops for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Set aside time for your writing in an inspirational and beautiful location on Brighton Beach. Join us at Yellowave for an afternoon of sessions designed to inspire and provide you with the creative space you need, surrounded by like-minded writers.

These practical workshops will be made up of writing activities such as journaling, free writing, mindful observation and sensory writing – so bring a pen and paper. There will be no obligation to join in with the activities or share what you’ve written. You can simply use the space to write.

Low cost places available

We believe the price of our courses should never be a barrier to your learning. If you are unable to pay for a place on this event, you can apply for a bursary place.
