New Writing South and Hastings Litfest 30 August – 1 September 2019
This year, New Writing South and The Creative Writing Programme are proud to support Hastings Litfest. Come and visit us at the Festival Bookfair in the lovely East Sussex College on Saturday 31 August and, beg, borrow or steal a place at the State of Publishing event, a timely discussion about publishing in the 21st century, chaired by Danuta Kean and featuring a panel of industry experts. Highlights include conversations with writer and musician, Tracey Thorn, Richard Blair, son of George Orwell on his father’s legacy plus TV presenters Alice Roberts and Lucy Cooke and many local authors in a range of events from workshops and panel discussions to open mics, performances and readings.
