Writing Audio Drama. The Pictures are better on radio with James McDermott
In this interactive online workshop for writers of all abilities, you will learn tools and techniques to help you generate stories for radio drama, structure audio scripts, create characters, write aurally and visually. The workshop will be led by James McDermott who has written audio dramas for BBC Radio 4 and Big Finish Productions.
About the tutor
James McDermott’s plays published by Samuel French include ‘Jab’ (Finborough Theatre), ‘Time & Tide’ (Park Theatre/tour) and ‘Rubber Ring’ (Pleasance Islington/tour). James has written multiple episodes of ‘EastEnders’ and audio drama for BBC Radio 4 and Big Finish Productions. James is an Arvon writing tutor and lecturer in creative writing at the University of East Anglia.
