On the Box; Writing for TV – with Pete Lawson
What makes good TV drama? Whether you’ve got a TV or screenplay idea that you’re interested in developing or just want to know where to start, this workshop will look at how to develop and pitch an idea, how to shape dynamic story, snappy plot and create characters we root for. We’ll look at how to layout script and scenes, how to write action not distraction, and talk about what makes great dialogue sing. There’ll be plenty of writing exercises as well as examples and top tips to help you imagine what your words might be like On The Box.
