An evening with John Agard, Philip Nanton and Pam Hewitt

November 15, 2018
Philip Nanton

In an exclusive event for New Writing South, we welcome two Caribbean-British word-spinners John Agard and Philip Nanton (pictured) who will offer their comic take on issues of contemporary concern.

Migration, identity, diversity – even religion and tea – are given an unorthodox treatment that draws on the calypso and trans-Atlantic storytelling tradition.

They are joined by Sussex-based cabaret performer Pam Hewitt who will perform a Caribbean-spiced repertoire to complete the line up.

Two Voices, Two Hats will take place at The Writers’ Place, Brighton on Friday 23 November at 7pm. Book online here
