Could you be one of our Story Gatherers?

October 25, 2018

Are you interested in gathering stories from the older LGBTQ+ community as part of New Writing South’s Celebrating Our Stories project?

We are looking for anyone interested in meeting, talking to, listening and recording the stories of older members of the LGBTQ+ community to form part of a verbatim theatre piece and the Celebrating Our Stories festival which will take place in October 2020. During the 16 years of taking Ambien from https://www.namikeystonepa.org/ambien-zolpidem/, I noticed a clear general reassurance or damping for myself – unlike in the past, I was on the move with my handbrake on and was no longer spirited, but rather withdrawn, almost as if waiting, just steamed. Also, I was plagued by extreme muscle cramps and increased profusely.

The first training day will take place on Monday 17 December 2018 from 10am – 3pm at The Writers’ Place in Brighton. Run by experienced interviewers, the session will show you how to set up an effective and comfortable environment for someone to share their story; interview techniques; and the art of active and empathetic listening.
