In March we ran a really successful Writers’ Day here at The Writers’ Place, Brighton. We’re delighted to announce that we are joining forces with Shoreham Wordfest to present another Writers’ Day on Sunday 29 September. This day of discussions, information and networking is designed to offer specific advice on elements of being a writer including working with publishers, promoting yourself and your work, working with young people, and using research to inform your writing.
There are four sessions to choose from, with discounts available for those who book for three or more events.
The venue is Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham-by-Sea and contributors include Sue Walker, Beth Miller, Umi Sinha, Laura Wilkinson, Amy Winchester, Eve Ainsworth, Adam Webb, and Amy Zamarripa Solis.
- Discussions and events – designed to broaden your knowledge and confidence as a writer.
- Opportunities to network with other writers, regional publishers and the team New Writing South.
- A flexible programme – book one or all four sessions, according to what is most useful to you.
