New Writing South is recruiting a new Programme/Deputy Director.
This new, future-facing role is a key leadership position, responsible for co-developing the strategic direction of the organisation. With a focus on seeking and creating new opportunities for writers, the Programme/Deputy Director will plan and oversee the delivery of innovative professional development programmes, literary events and creative projects.
It is an exciting time to join the New Writing South team, at the start of a new NPO funding period with room to bring bold new ideas that complement and develop our pioneering work, for example The Coast is Queer LGBTQ+ Literature Festival and the Crawley Working Class Writers Collective.
This is a permanent part-time role, 4 days per week, offering a salary of £38,000 – £40,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
