The winners of the Hastings Book Festival competition will be announced via Facebook live stream on Sunday 15th September at 5pm. Tune in to the Hastings Book Festival Facebook account on the day to follow the ceremony and find out the results.
New Writing South are delighted to continue our support for this prize, with our sponsorship of the Sussex Prize for writers in the region, including awards for poetry as well as fiction.
The festival itself launches on Friday 13th September with an event featuring Michael Rosen, with a talk based on his new book – Rosen’s Almanac. Running until 22 Setepmber, the festival also includes writers such as Henry Normal, Salena Godden, Caroline Lucas, Monique Roffey – and many more.
